Our Home
At Lakeside, we provide 24hr short and long-term care for the elderly suffering from dementia or mental illness. London based, this is family-run specialist dementia care with a difference. Lakeside provides 28 beds and has been operational since 1984. Situated beside the tranquil South Norwood Lake, residents enjoy the gardens throughout the year. Much more than just standard nursing care, we ensure that each of our residents feels special and appreciated.
We have deliberately created a homely atmosphere to ensure that everyone feels comfortable. Our staff are fully trained and knowledgeable, used to looking after residents in a caring and structured setting.

We don’t provide off-the-shelf packaged care but thoughtful and sensitive attention that treats each person as an individual. When residents want to do things themselves, we encourage this.
